Researcher / Market Analyst - New Media / London

Main Duties:
  • carry out market research and analysis
  • build, maintain and manage databases relating to market statistics
  • be responsible for compiling, writing and delivering research reports in different formats (.ppt / .doc / .xls)
  • discuss research issues and results with clients
  • present e-Media Institute reports and issues to the press and to small or large audiences
  • assist the Director of Market Research with ad hoc projects as required
     
The successful candidate will have:
  • at least six months' experience working as a researcher / market analyst within the television, telecommunications and/or media industries;
  • a high level of numeracy and an aptitude to analyse current industry issues logically and thoroughly;
  • the ability to interpret research results in relation to our clients business issues;
  • excellent written English and strong communication and presentation skills;
  • excellent spreadsheet, Word and PowerPoint skills;
  • the ability to work within a team as well as on your own initiative;
  • the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
     

Accuracy and attention to detail are essentials as well.
