Main Duties:

select relevant industry news and issues

carry out market analysis
-
build, maintain and manage databases relating to market statistics

be responsible for compiling, writing and delivering research reports in different formats (.ppt / .doc / .xls)

assist the Director of Market Research with ad hoc projects as required
The successful candidate will have:
-
more than two years of professional writing, research or consulting experience within the television industry;
-
at least six months' experience working as a market analyst within the television, telecommunications and media industries;
-
a high level of numeracy and an aptitude to analyse current industry issues logically and thoroughly;
-
excellent written English;
-
excellent spreadsheet and Word skills;
-
the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
Accuracy and attention to detail are essentials as well.
