Online video advertising expenditure will account for 20% of online display by 2016 in the Western Europe region

Spend on video formats continues to grow faster than spend on display advertising as a whole, doubling in share – from 5% in 2010 to 11% in 2012.  e-Media Insitute estimates that the video share of total online display ad spend will reach 20% by 2016.
